The story continues

I’ve been in Tanzania, in Dar es Salaam, two months now. Many friends asked me for more pictures and updates on this website.

First of all, sometimes I really enjoy bitching. It’s the case now :) . We’re towards (I hope) the end of the “short-rain” season. I’ve seen chicks floating dead on the water pools that were formed in the middle of the asphalt-less streets, I’ve seen cars flooded and, the worst, I really miss sidewalks and people using deodorant.

Of course, there are also things that compensate: the islands (Zanzibar, Prison Island, etc), friendly (although, not when it comes to what money or other benefits they can get from you for free) people and nice temperature.

While in Zanzibar, I stayed, among others, to the Zanzibar Serena Inn. Very nice hotel, especially as it has a deal for lower prices for Zantel employees.

    You are too demanding…Romania is not so great this time of year either so enjoy your stay there and live with the odors of a “virgin land”…

    nu inteleg unde req sunt negresele in bikini care iti fac vant cu brusturele in timp ce tu stai pe plaja in sezlong cu un coktail exotic in mana?

    Pai, dupa ce am vazut ce fel de boli sunt pe aici si cat de nespalati sunt localnicii (a se citi “put mai rau decat ghena de gunoi”), numai dupa cautarea negreselor nu imi arde mie, nici macar pentru a pune cateva poze pe site :)
